Recovering Windows Password, No extra tool required

Hello Folks, today I'm going to show you on how to recover forgotten windows password without using any extra tool or software.

1. Open or restart your computer, while your computer is opening or "starting windows" is showing up, force press and hold the power button until it does a hard shutdown.

2. Open again your computer, you will be seeing windows having an issue but do no worry because this is also part of recovering windows password.The issue will going to ask you if you want to launch windows repair or start normally.You will going to choose the "Launch Startup Repair".

3. Once you have chosen Startup Repair then it will going to start booting, this would usually take a little while then i will ask you if you would going to perform a system restore point. At this time do choose the cancel option

4. Now, this is the long part of waiting, but it only take minutes and after waiting a dialogue will show telling you that "startup could not repair the computer automatically!". This is okay because this is also part of the process. Click the down arrow at the bottom left so you can see the problem details. 

5. At the very end of the Detail Report just click the link. That is the link for the privacy statement.

6. Notepad will be showing up together with the privacy statement in it. Go to the "File menu" and click "Open".

7. With the use of the "open dialogue" go to "computer->localdisk->windows->sytem 32".

8. Do not forget to switch from text documents to all files so that you could see all the files or every files in the folder.

9. Find the application file name "sethc".The "sethc" is the accesibility keys program.

10. Just rename the file as a backup file. For me I named it sethc-bak.

11.On the same folder, find the file "cmd" or the command prompt then right click on it and copy. Paste it on the same folder.

12. After pasting on the dsame folder, the file will be renamed as "cmd-copy". Rename this to sethc" then close all the windows so that computer will restart.

13. At the login prompt hit the shift key on your keyboard 5 times then Command prompt  commes up with administrator privileges. Just type "net user".

14. You cand find here which user is the admin group by simply typing 

net user [username]

to reset the password, then just ype

net user[username]*

15.After typing the "net user[username]*" it will give you a prompt to type your new password but always keep in mind that if you set a new password then you might not

not be able to get or login to the windows. However, leaving it blank then it will not be prompted to type login password.

This will give you a prompt to type a new password. Keep in mind that if you set it to something new, the user might definitely not be able to get into their computer. However, if you just leave it blank, they will not be prompted for login.
